At Church of Elohim (7th Day – Kayole, Naivasha)

Our Mission and Foundation:

We are a dedicated congregation committed to honoring our Heavenly Father, the Creator, and Elohim of Yisra'ĕl. Rooted in the principles of truth, obedience, and spiritual preparation, our mission is to faithfully anticipate the arrival of the Kingdom through the life and teachings of Yahshua the Messiah.

Our Foundation:

As articulated in Ephesians 2:20, “And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Messiah Yahshua himself being the chief cornerstone.”
This verse serves as the cornerstone of our faith. We do not rely on the traditions of men, but on the unshakeable foundation of the Word—revealed through the prophets, affirmed by the apostles, and perfected in the life and ministry of Yahshua.

Our doctrine and practice are anchored in this unwavering truth, guiding us as we strive to live in alignment with His will and prepare for the fulfillment of His eternal Kingdom.

What We Believe:

We hold unwavering faith in the complete authority and divine inspiration of the Scriptures.

As stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17,
“All scripture is given by inspiration of ELOHIM, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of Elohim may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
We believe that the Scriptures serve as the ultimate guide for doctrine, teaching, and spiritual growth, shaping the lives of those who adhere to its precepts.

We honor the seventh-day Sabbath as a sacred sign between ELOHIM and His people, faithfully observing it in accordance with His commandments and the example of Yahshua the Messiah. This observance is a distinguishing mark of the faithful remnant:

Revelation 12:17“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of ELOHIM, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah.”

Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of ELOHIM, and the faith of Yahshua.”
We affirm that adherence to the law and testimony of ELOHIM is essential, as Isaiah 8:20 declares,
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

We are committed to spiritual growth and the pursuit of excellence in all things:

Philippians 1:10 “That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Messiah.”
1 Thessalonians 5:21“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”
Our faith is not just in knowing the truth but in living it—bearing fruit, reflecting the character of Yahshua, and preparing for the imminent establishment of ELOHIM's Kingdom.

In all aspects of life, we strive to walk in the Spirit, remain steadfast in the truth, and embody the teachings of Yahshua our Savior, who is the model of righteousness.

The Evidence of True Discipleship:

At Church of Elohim (7th Day – Kayole, Naivasha), we believe that true discipleship is not merely declared—it is demonstrated through the fruit of a transformed life.

As Yahshua states in John 15:8:
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” (KJV)

This verse reveals that the Father is glorified when we bear much fruit—living lives of righteousness, obedience, and love through the example and teachings of Yahshua the Messiah.

In Matthew 7:20, Yahshua further affirms:
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

This truth reminds us that the authenticity of one’s faith is evident through action. At Church of Elohim (7th Day – Kayole, Naivasha), we strive to be known not only by what we believe, but by the fruits we bear__walking in the Spirit, keeping the commandments, and living in the testimony of Yahshua.

Called to walk in the Spirit and crucify the flesh:

🌿 Fruits of the Spirit vs. Works of the Flesh – The Battle Within the Believer

Galatians 5:16–25 (KJV) lays out a spiritual contrast that every follower of Yahshua must face daily.

⚔️ Song of Solomon 2:15 (KJV)

“Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.”

  • “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other…” (Galatians 5:17)

This is not symbolic — it is a real, ongoing war within the life of every Messianic believer. The flesh, or the carnal nature inherited from Adam, is at enmity with the Spirit of Elohim. One must die daily to the flesh to live unto Messiah.

💀 Works of the Flesh (Galatians 5:19–21)

These are the natural fruits of a life not led by the Spirit:

  • Adultery, fornication, uncleanness

  • Idolatry, witchcraft

  • Hatred, variance, emulations

  • Wrath, strife, seditions, heresies

  • Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings

“…they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of Elohim.”

This is not just a warning — it's a final judgment. These works must be crucified in every true believer.

🌱 Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23)

These are not human efforts — they are the evidence of the indwelling Spirit of Elohim:

  • Love (agape – selfless concern for others)

  • Joy (deep, abiding gladness in truth)

  • Peace (rest and unity with Elohim)

  • Longsuffering (patience under pressure)

  • Gentleness, Goodness, Faith

  • Meekness, Temperance (self-control)

“Against such there is no law.”

These fruits are proof of true transformation — not emotion-driven religion, but Spirit-powered righteousness.

🛡️ The Messianic Struggle

As believers in Yahshua the Messiah, we are called to walk in the Spirit and crucify the flesh:

“And they that are Messiah's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” (Galatians 5:24)

  • We wrestle daily against fleshly desires.

  • We submit to Elohim, resisting the devil (James 4:7).

  • We put on the whole armour (Ephesians 6) and stand firm.

✅ Final Thought

The true Messianic believer in the Church of Elohim (Seventh Day) must walk by the Spirit, bearing His fruit, and put to death the flesh. This is not optional — it is the evidence of salvation, the path to victory, and the life of holiness Elohim requires.

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:25)

Song of Solomon 2:15 (KJV)

“Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.”

GRACE – ELOHIM’S GREATEST GIFT📖

🕊️ What does it mean to be justified by faith?

📖 Romans 5:1–2

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with Elohim through our Master Yahshua Messiah: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of Elohim.”

🔹 Justification means to be declared righteous before Elohim — not by works, but by faith in Yahshua Messiah.
🔹 The result? Peace — true reconciliation with Elohim, no longer at odds with His holiness.
🔹 We now stand in grace and rejoice in hope — grace is not only a past act but a present position and future promise.

❤️  When did Elohim extend grace to us?

📖 Romans 5:6–8

“But Elohim commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.”

🕰️ Grace met us not when we were good, but while we were yet sinners, ungodly, and helpless.
💖 The ultimate proof of Elohim’s love is the sacrificial death of Yahshua Messiah on behalf of the unworthy.

🛡️ What are we saved from?

📖 Romans 5:9–11

“Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

Grace does not only remove sin; it saves from wrath — the righteous judgment of Elohim.
🤝 Through Yahshua, we are reconciled — restored into full friendship with Elohim, even rejoicing in Him.

⚖️ How did sin and death enter the world?

📖 Romans 5:12–14

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin…”

👣 Through Adam, sin and death were passed on to all humanity.
But this wasn’t the end — Elohim was already preparing something greater than the fall: grace.

🌊 How does grace compare to the sin?

📖 Romans 5:15–17

“For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of Elohim… hath abounded unto many.”

🌼 The grace of Elohim superabounds — it overflows beyond the damage caused by Adam’s sin.
💎 The gift of righteousness reigns through Yahshua Messiah, granting us dominion in life.

👑 How does one act bring life to many?

📖 Romans 5:18–19

“By the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”

Adam’s single disobedience brought condemnation.
Yahshua’s obedience undoes the curse and brings justification of life.
🎁 This is not partial — it’s a free gift offered to all who believe.

What is the reign of grace?

📖 Romans 5:20–21

“But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign…”

📢 Sin once ruled like a tyrant, bringing death.
👑 But now, grace reigns — ruling as a benevolent king, leading us to righteousness and eternal life in Yahshua Messiah.

📘 Visual Guide to Romans 5:1–21

📌 Concept 🪙 From Adam 👑 In Yahshua Messiah
Source One man’s disobedience One man’s obedience
Result Sin and death Grace and life
Standing Condemnation Justification
Nature Inherited guilt Given righteousness
Outcome Wrath Peace and reconciliation
Reign Sin unto death Grace through righteousness

🧠 Memory Verse:

“That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.”Romans 5:21 (KJV)

🕊️ What is the first recorded act of grace toward fallen man?

Genesis 3:21 (KJV):
“Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord Elohim make coats of skins, and clothed them.”

Elohim's immediate response to Adam and Eve's sin was not condemnation but provision. He clothed them, symbolizing the first act of grace. This act required the shedding of innocent blood, foreshadowing the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

🐑 How do we know Abel was instructed in the plan of salvation?

Genesis 4:4 (KJV):
“And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:”

Abel's offering of a lamb indicates he understood the necessity of a blood sacrifice for atonement, pointing to the future sacrifice of Christ.

⚖️ What is the relationship between sin and grace?

Romans 5:17–20 (KJV):
“For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace... But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.”

While sin brought death through Adam, grace brings life through Jesus Christ. Grace doesn't just cover sin; it overflows, offering redemption and righteousness.

🚪 Even in ancient times, what two ways were open to man?

Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV):
“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life…”
Jeremiah 21:8 (KJV):
“Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.”

Elohim has always presented humanity with a choice: life through obedience or death through disobedience. Grace empowers us to choose life.

🕊️ How did Jesus express the same thought to the Jews?

John 5:40 (KJV):
“And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.”

Jesus lamented that despite offering life, many refused to come to Him. Grace is available, but it must be received.

📣 What message of grace should we be heralding today?

Revelation 22:17 (KJV):
“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come… let him that is athirst come… whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

The invitation of grace is universal and free. It's a call to all who thirst for righteousness and eternal life.

🌍 To how many has the grace of Elohim appeared?

Titus 2:11–12 (KJV):
“For the grace of Elohim that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness... we should live soberly, righteously, and godly…”

Grace is not only for salvation but also for instruction, guiding us to live lives that reflect Elohim's righteousness.

❤️ What shows the immeasurable love of Christ for us?

2 Corinthians 8:9 (KJV):
“That, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”

Jesus left the glory of heaven to embrace humanity's poverty, demonstrating the depth of His love and grace.

🙏 How is grace further extended to us?

2 Corinthians 8:12 (KJV):
“If there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath…”

Elohim values our willingness over our wealth. Grace meets us where we are and works through what we have.

🧎 What humble confession did Paul make?

1 Corinthians 15:10 (KJV):
“But by the grace of Elohim I am what I am… yet not I, but the grace of Elohim which was with me.”

🌟 Grace is Yahshua:

Grace is not just a concept or a doctrine; it is embodied in Yahshua Messiah, who is the very embodiment of grace. As Romans 5:1–2 shows, we are justified by faith in Yahshua, which leads to peace with Elohim and access to the grace we stand in. Yahshua's sacrifice is the ultimate act of grace, offering eternal life instead of eternal separation.

Grace is the Word:
The Word of Elohim made flesh, Yahshua, is the expression of grace in tangible form. When we hear and accept the Word, we encounter grace — grace that teaches us how to live according to Elohim’s will (Titus 2:11–12). It’s not just about salvation but about being transformed through the Word.

Grace is the Blessing to Eternal Life:
Grace is Elohim's ultimate gift, bringing eternal life through Yahshua. It is not for death, but for life! Sin and death entered the world through Adam, but grace has superabounded through Yahshua, offering us justification and the free gift of eternal life (Romans 5:15–19). This grace reigns in us, leading us to righteousness and eternal life, as Romans 5:20-21 tells us.

💡 Practical Takeaway

Grace is not just an abstract idea, but a living, transformative power in our lives. It is Yahshua, the Word, the Spirit, and the promise of eternal life.

Grace and the Ten Commandments: A Deeper Understanding

What Is Grace, and Does It Abolish the Ten Commandments?

A widely spread belief in modern Christianity is that grace has abolished the Ten Commandments. But what does Scripture truly say? The Bible clearly teaches that grace does not set aside Elohim’s law. Rather, it establishes and empowers the believer to walk in obedience through the faith of Yahshua Messiah.

Let us begin by understanding what grace is, according to the Word of Elohim.

What Is Grace?

Ephesians 1 paints the most complete and exalted picture of what grace truly is. The Apostle Paul opens with these words:

“Paul, an apostle of Yahshua Messiah by the will of Elohim, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Yahshua Messiah: Grace be to you, and peace, from Elohim our Father, and from the Lord Yahshua Messiah.”
Ephesians 1:1–2 (KJV)

Paul then proceeds to declare:

“Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Lord Yahshua Messiah, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Messiah:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Yahshua Messiah to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
Ephesians 1:3–6 (KJV)

Grace here is far more than just “unmerited favor.” It is a divine choosing, a sanctifying power, a spiritual blessing, and a holy calling — all bestowed through Yahshua Messiah. It is the very means by which Elohim has called us out of death into life.

How Does Romans 9 Confirm This View of Grace?

Romans 9 illustrates this grace further:

“For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of Elohim according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;
It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.”
Romans 9:11–13 (KJV)

Just like Jacob was chosen apart from any merit of his own, we were chosen by Elohim while we were yet sinners. When we were dead in sins, Elohim showed us mercy, covering our guilt with the blood of the Lamb — as illustrated from the beginning, when Adam and Eve sinned.

“Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord Elohim make coats of skins, and clothed them.”
Genesis 3:21 (KJV)

This is grace: the Lamb slain to cover the nakedness of sin — undeserved, yet lovingly provided.

Does Grace Abolish the Commandments?

The common assertion that grace removes the need for the Ten Commandments is plainly refuted by the words of Yahshua Himself.

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:17–19 (KJV)

Explanation:

Yahshua Messiah emphasizes that His mission is not to abolish the ten commandments but to fulfill it. He came to perfectly embody the law, showing us how to live in accordance with Elohim's will. Yahshua declares that the commandments will remain in effect until the end of time, reinforcing that not a single part of the law will pass away. Those who break or teach others to break even the smallest commandment will be the least in the kingdom of heaven, while those who obey and teach others to do so will be called great.

Is the 10 commandments Void Through Faith?

Paul asks the very question:

“Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.”
Romans 3:31 (KJV)

Grace leads not to lawlessness but to obedience — an obedience born from the heart.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of Elohim.”
Romans 10:17 (KJV)

And what is the Word of Elohim? The Spirit, which brings truth and holiness:

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
John 17:17 (KJV)
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
John 6:63 (KJV)

Is Grace a License to Sin?

Paul strongly refutes such an idea:

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”
Romans 6:1–2 (KJV)

“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, Elohim sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
Romans 8:3–4 (KJV)

The Spirit (which is the Word — John 6:63) leads the believer into obedience, not rebellion.

How Does the New Covenant Relate to the Law?

The New Covenant does not remove the law but moves it to the heart:

“But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people.”
Jeremiah 31:33 (KJV)

And Yahshua affirmed:

“But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.”
Matthew 19:17 (KJV)

The Testimony of the Saints

True saints are described not by what they confess alone, but by their fruits and faithfulness:

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Elohim, and the faith of Yahshua.”
Revelation 14:12 (KJV)

“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of Elohim, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah.”
Revelation 12:17 (KJV)

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
Isaiah 8:20 (KJV)

We are also admonished:

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of Elohim: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
1 John 4:1 (KJV)

“That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Messiah.”
Philippians 1:10 (KJV)

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”
1 Thessalonians 5:21 (KJV)

Conclusion: The Power of Grace Is in Obedience

Grace is the great love and undeserved favor Elohim has shown through Yahshua Messiah — not based on our works, but purely on His mercy. As seen from the very beginning in Genesis 3, when Adam sinned, Elohim did not leave him naked and condemned. He clothed him with the skin of a sacrificed animal — a shadow of the Lamb to come. So now, grace clothes us with righteousness, not so we may continue in sin, but so we may live holy, Spirit-led lives.

Let us therefore walk in the liberty of grace, not turning it into an excuse for lawlessness, but allowing it to fulfill in us the righteousness of the law, through faith in Yahshua Messiah.

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Messiah hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
Galatians 5:1 (KJV)

“For in Yahshua Messiah neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.”
Galatians 5:6 (KJV)
